FolioTell is built to be private by default. The short version: the app collects nothing, sends nothing, and works entirely on your device.
What we collect
Nothing. FolioTell has no account system, no analytics, and no backend server. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information, usage data, or diagnostics.
Your documents
The files you open are read directly from your device with read-only access and are used only to display and speak their contents. They are never uploaded, copied off your device, or shared with anyone. FolioTell does not modify your files.
Speech
Reading aloud uses Apple's on-device speech synthesis. Your text is spoken by the system voices installed on your iPhone and is not sent to FolioTell or any third party.
Network
FolioTell does not require an internet connection and makes no network requests of its own for its core reading features.
Third parties
There are no third-party SDKs, advertising, or trackers embedded in FolioTell.
Children
FolioTell collects no data from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
